Your Impact & Tasks

As a key member of our dynamic research team that includes researchers from Data Science and Quantum Computing, you will learn, grow, and drive real-world impact through the following responsibilities:

  • Innovate: Research and develop cutting-edge hybrid quantum AI technologies tailored for AI in industrial applications.
  • Build: Design and implement hybrid methods, algorithms, and tools for integration of AI and quantum computing.
  • Connect: Collaborate closely with leading industrial partners and international scientific consortia.
  • Share: Publish your findings and present your work at prestigious international conferences and scientific meetings.

The Essentials

  • Mindset: You enjoy team brainstorming just as much as deep, focused independent research.
  • Education: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of Machine and/or Deep Learning, including experience in Python & tools such as Pytorch and pandas. Prior knowledge of quantum computing is a plus, but not required.
  • Languages: Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a welcome bonus but not a requirement.

Experience or a strong interest in one or several of the following areas:

  • Quantum computing platforms & algorithm development
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC) & simulation
  • Software engineering practices
